Attacker

2nd Regional Division (women)

Opportunity to Coach and Play in England for the second half ot our main season running from January 2023-April 2023, and then also playing some matches in the more relaxed Summer League (up until June). We are a large club (European Club of the Year in 2014) and have a rapidly growing Junior section. We are keen to hear from players with strong coaching experience and good English to come and play for the club on Saturdays, and coach the juniors on Sundays, and also some sessions during the week in return for Accommodation and Food to be covered by us. The Ladies section has grown significantly in recent years, and we have 5 sides; the 1s have moved up 2 divisions in the last 3 years. We are keen to support our talented juniors by offering excellent coaching and also bringing in some strong players, as well as provide work opportunities for anyone who is able to earn money whilst working in England. Therefore any player must have good to excellent English. We are interested from hearing from any players that are interested in coming to England, but in particular goalscoring forwards. We can potentially help support some travel costs in return for additional coaching whilst in England - so do please contact us if you want to discuss options. When applying, please provide details about your playing and coaching experience if you can.

Offerings

Accommodation

We have a shared house, where you will have your own room, but also plenty of social space (kitchen, garden, living room) sharing with 3 other overseas players/coaches. We provide food and accommodation in return for 6 hours of coaching within the club set up each week.

Compensation

We can find additional work for players IF they have the right to work in England and are not coming over purely on a visitor permit/visa.

Coaching opportunities

As well as the coaching listed above, there are also plenty of other coaching opportunities, which can be paid roles if the visa/permit for an overseas player allows; equally, if the coach/player is a British citizen or with British passport, there are lots of additional paid coaching hours that can be tied into this role.

Job

Additional work can be found/provided, if the player's visa/permit allows them to work and be paid.

Flight

Our offer does not include a "free" flight, but we are happy to support the costs of a flight, for the right candidate, and assuming they will cover these costs by coaching additional hours once in England.

Vehicle

Bicycles can be provided for any coach/player, plus there is the potential for a car which can be borrowed/shared if absolutely necessary - though this is not likely to be offered to most coaches. We will also provide lifts to and from most training and matches.

Over the past few seasons, we have had great success in supporting the opportunity for a number of players to stay in England for a few months, whilst travelling and seeing the Country and some of Europe, alongside playing for the club, and being involved withing our Coaching team. We have had players from South Africa, Australia, Pakistan, Brazil, Chile and Argentina involved in this programme. We can offer housing and food in return for 10 hours of coaching per week and playing at the club, and if travel visas allow, can also find additional work for the right coaches. Whilst we are keen to get strong players over, this opportunity is far more about supporting the development of our coaching programme, particularly with regards to our juniors, and hence we are primarily looking for fluent (or very good) English speakers, who have several years of experience in coaching (ideally players aged 8-16).
