    Southgate Hockey Club

London, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Southgate Hockey Club has undertaken a thorough review of its performance hockey provision. As a result, we are seeking to recruit new Men’s First XI and Women’s First XI coaches for 2022/23 and onwards. We also invite applications for the new role of Director of Hockey which may, or may not, be combined with one of the First XI positions – subject to the merits and preferences of the applicants. This may be a full-time or part-time position, depending on the successful candidate. Southgate is a long-established, family-based hockey club based at our own excellent facilities in North London, with a history of high-performance teams and top quality junior coaching. We field 8 men’s teams plus two Master’s sides and our Men’s First XI plays in national Division 1 South. The Women’s section has five teams, as well as Masters, and the Women’s First XI competes in National Conference East. Our ambition is to build on this platform and deliver National Premier League hockey for both our Men’s and Women’s teams in the next two to five years. In addition, we aim to increase the playing level and numbers of all our club sides and strengthen our junior offering. These important new appointments will suit well-qualified hockey professionals who want to have an integral role in delivering our ambitious project over the next few years. Applications and expressions of interest should include relevant CV’s and expressions of interest in one or more of the vacant roles together with an outline of how you will contribute to our development project. The deadline for applications is 30th April 2022. After this date selected candidates will receive further information ahead of the interview process. Please send details to Neil Murphy at southgatehc.chairman1@gmail.com
