2nd National Division (women)

UCLWHC is looking for someone who is driven and passionate about hockey to coach the club’s 1st XI (ICG Women’s Premier (South)). We are looking for a coach to: - Lead engaging training sessions on a Monday evening, targeting individual and team skills. - Come to the BUCS matches on a Wednesday to coach game tactics. - Work with the 1st XI’s physio and strength and conditioning coach for off pitch development. The coach would contribute greatly to the team by encouraging a high-performance environment, in turn bringing the most out of every player in both training and matches. We would importantly like to develop team play and put a focus on intrateam connections, especially moving up the pitch, as this is something we feel was lacking last season. Our ambition for the team is to improve our position in the league, finishing mid-league this season to set us up for future years. Any questions regarding the position should be directed to ella.mccarthy.21@ucl.ac.uk. Applications should include a CV with coaching/playing history as well as some suggestions of training/drills/ways you feel you could uniquely benefit the teams; this should also be sent to ella.mccarthy.21@ucl.ac.uk.
