Taieri Hockey Club is based in Dunedin, New Zealand. The Taieri Hockey club are looking for skilled, talented leaders to help in establishing a winning culture and mindset in our womans 1st XI team for the upcoming season. The Taieri Womens 1st XI (Taieri Tigers), are compiled of a young and exciting team, undergoing a current rebuilding programme to return to their competitive best. The club is looking for senior players in multiple positions to be leaders and role models for these younger players. Experience in player-coaching would be ideal, but there will be support from the club to help accomodate someone wanting to learn this role. The club is well supported in facilities and equipment to help nurture a learning player-coach, or to provide everything required for an experienced coach. Our competition boasts a 4 week break during the middle of the season, where central otago, ski fields and an extended New Zealand holiday are possible. Accommodation, car, fees, and coaching opportunities can all be discussed for the right candidate.
