Club de Campo Madrid has a very strong youth structure that allows for the club to create a great base for players to filter into the first team. This has been a great contribution to the success of the club and the results that have led to winning the league final in Spain on countless occasions. The women’s team are looking strong and ready to start their EHL campaign against Der Club an der Alster.
With a top goalkeeper Maria Ruiz, who was nominated in 2019 for goalkeeper of the year, and Maria Lopez, Begona Garcia and Bea Perez who were involved in winning the bronze medal at the European cup they have a fantastic core of players. With the likes of Carmen Cano, Alicia Magaz, Candela Zanetti, Alejandra Torres as well as Sara and Laura Barrios, who are in the Spanish training squad that are in preparation for the Olympic games, they are set for a great EHL. Club De Campo are again top of the league in Spain. They have had the same coach for the past 7 years Eduardo Aguilar who has added huge success to their campaigns.
