Uhlenhorst Mulheim men's team has an incredible track record of winning the European Championship from 1988 - 1996. They have also competed in 5 EHL’s before this one. This year they will have the greatest chance as they qualified directly to the top 4 by ending first in the Germany league in 2019/2020. They have done well in the past EHL’s but have been unable to advance to the top 4 and so they will be looking to really take this opportunity to advance to the final.
The team will be coached by Thilo Stralkowski, former German international and gold medalist at the 2012 London Olympics. This team will be exciting to watch with a good mix of experience and youth. Important players to keep an eye on in this team are Timm Herzbruch, Tobias Matania, Benedikt Fürk and Lukas Windfeder, Malte Hellwig, Jan Schiffer and Niklas Bosserhoff.
