1st Regional Division (women)

Marden Russets Hockey Club is part of Marden Sports Club. We have two brand new hockey pitches, accompanied by a two story clubhouse with 6 changing rooms. We provide exceptional coaching opportunities, supported by professional training and development lead by our Head of Sport. After a successful season. MRHC are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Ladies’ 1st Team Coach for the 19/20 season and beyond. Ideally we would prefer a coach only. Though would not knock back the opportunity of a player/coach. Training will take place on Wednesday evenings at Marden Sports Club under world class LED Lighting. The Ladies 1st XI play in Kent Premier League on Saturdays. They had a very successful season and would like to continue their form of quality hockey. Requires: Sessional Hockey Coaching Certificate or equivalent DBS Insurance Responsibilities: Deliver a high quality and professional training session, with support from the Head of Sport Selection of Ladies 1st Team. Attendance of Ladies 1st XI fixtures on a Saturday Where possible help support the Ladies 2nd and 3rd XI during their fixtures.     Marden Russets HC is part of Marden Sports Club. Marden is located on a main train line from London to the South East(Kent) (40min journey). A nice country town with plenty of sport to offer from Cricket to Hockey to Tennis and more. Their Men’s 1st Hockey Team have just completed a very successful season. Finishing second in their League (Kent Sussex Regional 2) and placing second on the Kent County Cup. They have been promoted for the 2019/2020 season to Kent Sussex Regional 1. This league is ranked as a Tier 2 League. We are seeking a striker to help continue our run for promotion into South Premier League 2. Which is classed as a Tier 1 League. We can offer you work coaching and behind the bar in our brand new club house. There is also an opportunity to represent our club in cricket during the summer.
