2nd National Division (women)

Who you are You ideally have experience coaching women and girls in a high performance environment. You enjoy working with others, empowering assistant coaches and are satisfied seeing both progression of individuals and the team alongside on pitch results. You have experience of successfully integrating young players into adult teams. You are comfortable working under pressure. Ideally you are competent in both outdoor and indoor hockey coaching, though outdoor is the priority and indoor is a bonus. Who we are CCHC Womens 1st XI have enjoyed national league status for the majority of the last 15 years. The women currently play in Vitality England Hockey Division 1 South, the second tier of domestic hockey, and England Hockey Division One for indoor, the second tier of indoor domestic hockey. The performance squads train twice a week and the Head Coach is expected to lead the 1st XI sessions on two weeknight evenings as well as attending all matches (home and away) on a Saturday. The club has a history of producing international standard talent with representatives in the current GB and home nations senior, EDP and NAGs set ups. We have a membership of approximately 800 across the adult and youth section. Each section has consistent, high quality coaches and our performance squads are supported by a well respected Strength & Conditioning Coach. The club was recently awarded a Talent Academy license by England Hockey. We enjoy excellent facilities at Wilberforce Road, benefitting from access to three high quality pitches, a meeting room and well equipped club house.
